Historic preservation and restoration

Renewed Colonial was established in 2022. Micaiah and Jacky have exclusively owned colonial homes and rental properties since 1997 and have been repairing and maintaining them ever since. Driven by a passion for renewing early American homes, they have committed themselves to preserving an old Stagecoach Inn, in western New Hampshire. After nearly three decades of working on colonial buildings and completing many projects, Renewed Colonial was born.

“Micaiah’s projects are always well thought out and he has impeccable craftsmanship. I met him when I was a municipal building inspector. His commercial residential property needed some complex and technical repairs and his plans needed zero correction and all inspections passed.”

- Simone W., Lebanon, NH

“I trusted Micaiah from start to finish on several projects at my home. His attention to detail and drive to do things right resulted in beautiful work. He was thoughtful about how to best tackle jobs and communicated well about his ideas. It was evident that he was thinking about things off the clock. I particularly appreciated his problem solving regarding a tricky flooring situation in my attic that a few other carpenters were unable or unwilling to solve. I plan to continue hiring Micaiah as long as I am able.”

-Michael Sutch, Westmoreland, NH

“Caring, communicative and courteous work on our previously neglected 1820s barn. Micaiah took time to understand and plan prior to commencing work on our phase I and we can tell he’s approaching the job as if it’s his own barn. He’s a rare talent and we are lucky to have found him!! More to come!!”
